Sound Transit’s streetcar plans
I wonder if this will happen at some point — the Sound Transit Long-Range plans for steetcars (March 2005): http://www.soundtransit.org/pdf/projects/seis/N.3_SeattleStreetcarOptions.pdf
It’d be kind of cool in that they’re (at least lightly) proposing to extend the George Benson streetcar line from its current stopping point at 5th and S Jackson up to 12th and S Jackson initially… and then further extension along S Jackson all the way to 23rd. That’d be convenient – I could catch the 14 bus or the streetcar to get downtown along S Jackson!
